with over two decades of experience as a devoted sports mom, Kristi Wilson has spent much of her life on the sidelines—cheering, supporting, and encouraging her four children through every stage of their athletic journeys. From early morning practices in youth leagues to high-stakes high school championship games, Kristi’s unwavering commitment to her family and the sports they love shaped her deep understanding of what it means to show up with heart and grit.

That same passion eventually led her beyond the stands and onto the field. For the past six years, Kristi has embraced a new role as a football official—officiating both tackle and flag football at local, regional, and national levels. Her dedication to fairness, excellence, and the integrity of the game has made her a respected figure in the officiating community.

She has officiated at the Southern California CIF Girls Flag Football Finals, USA Flag National and Regional Championships, and the NFL Flag National and Regional Championships—and is set to return to the NFL Flag Nationals in Canton, Ohio in July 2025. Kristi is also a proud member of the Women’s Collegiate Officials Association, supporting the expansion of collegiate women’s flag football across the U.S.

What fuels her most is the rapid growth of girls’ flag football and its power to shape character, build confidence, and unite communities. As co-founder of Elite Flag Academy, Kristi brings not only her experience and expertise but also a genuine love for helping others succeed. Her vision for EFA is to cultivate a community built on mentorship, respect, and shared passion—where young women, coaches, and officials are equipped to thrive both on and off the field.
